Our building process at Frame Construction Co.

After you have contacted us, we usually start with a meeting, preferably at your building site.  By looking at your site together we can better evaluate how your home should be oriented for your best views.  The Mission Valley area has many spectacular views and we want to enhance those views for each portion of your home, giving consideration to the path of the sun.  For instance it's nice to have your patio or deck located on the easterly side for good morning light and warmth, then as the sun moves westerly it will become shaded for those warmer summer days.  After these site evaluations we start work on finalizing your floor plan layout and your home's style features.

We will work up your cost proposal in the next step.  After we reach an agreement on cost we can start work on the site.  We will do the excavation and construct your foundation or basement.  We will help you, if needed, with getting power to the site and other needs such as water and sewer. 

As we proceed through the building process of your home, we will keep you informed of all the upcoming phases so it's easy for you to make timely decisions.  If you desire a change during construction, let us know.  Maybe a window needs to be added in a place you hadn't thought about before.  We are flexible and our objective is to have your home built to suit you.  We want your home building experience to be pleasant and enjoyable.
